The Children's Ministry of Johns Creek Baptist Church exists to help children develop spiritually, mentally, emotionally and socially into all
that God wants them to become. The church joins the parents to provide foundational Bible learning upon which a commitment to Christ
can be made.

We fulfill this ministry by building relationships with the children and families and offering sound biblical teaching in every aspect of our programming. Sunday School, Kid Quake are offered on a weekly basis.

Sundays

  • 9:45 - Sunday School is our traditional approach to Bible Study. Children study the Bible with children their own age. We use small group, story-related activities, Bible stories, prayer and music to teach the meaning and application of our lessons.
  • 11:00 - KidQuake is our innovative large group approach to Bible Study. Children gather in the gym where upbeat Christian music welcomes them to the dynamic presentation of the lesson. We use video, drama, game shows,interviews, special guests and audience participation to make the lesson come alive for children. Lesson application is done in small groups of children the same age.

Wednesdays

  • 5:00-6:00 - Family Dinner

  • 6:00-7:00- Kid Konnection - Age-graded choirs sing traditional as well as contemporary Christian songs that help children learn worship as well as music skills. Once choir presents their musical, programming changes to a unique blend of activity and discipleship and interactive learning and bible memory called TeamKID. Here we learn about morals and values of the Christian life. We meet people who are making a difference for Christ. We participate in activities that allow children to do things that will help others around their neighborhoods and world.

  • Passport Camp (3rd - 5th grade)
  • Bible Drills and Skills for children in 3rd through 5th grade. Challenge each other in scripture memorization and locating books and key passages of the Bible.
  • Bible Buddies for children in 1st and 2nd grade. Learn books of the Bible and memory verses.
  • New Christian Class
  • "Getting Ready" Class
  • Parent/Teacher seminars
  • Panel discussion with experts for parents of 6th graders
