PHILOSOPHY STATEMENT:

The New Testament word for “deacon” means “servant”. The very meaning of the word
“servant” gives the best statement as to the nature of the deacon role. Deacons are selected and called by God and chosen by the church. They are dedicated to the office by personal voluntary choice. They are elected to serve the members and assist the Senior Pastor in the serving role.
